My name is Joe Eisma, also known as Supajoe. I'm a digital artist currently residing in Wylie, Texas. I'm originally from a small Czech town just outside Waco, Texas. As a kid, I was obsessed with video games and comic books--hobbies which are still with me today as an adult. Strangely, I never pursued these fields as a career as I got older. I never received formal art training. After spending my college years chasing musical and film director aspirations, I graduated with a BA in Radio/TV/Film from Baylor University in 2002. I worked in the news industry, in the print and television news mediums after graduation. It didn't take me long to realize that my station in life wasn't where I wanted to be. I rediscovered my love of art, and pursued a career in the work that interested me in my younger years. In June 2005, I graduated from the Guildhall at Southern Methodist University, where I studied Art Creation. I've had games released on the Nintendo DS, iPhone and PC platforms. The comics I've worked on include Serpo from Devil's Due, We the People from Outlaw Entertainment and A Dummy's Guide to Danger: Lost at Sea from Viper Comics To download my resume click here for .pdf format and here for word format.
